Meet Interesting People... and then exploit them.

Space Trader features a huge cast of unique characters, scattered across the solar system. From the hard bargain driving Aun Argent to the insidious and clever Mai Gorum, Space Trader has got character.

Legal Merchant

Aun Argent is a powerful and wealthy Merchant, and has been involved in Trade for many years. He surrounds himself with symbols of his riches, and will take up residence in only the finest of locations.

Contraband Merchant

Mirela Faz deals in only illegal and highly dangerous commodities, which has put her at odds with the Ministry of Accounts on more than one occasion. Faz likes to tell her customers that she has arcane powers that can influence the flow of commodities and their prices.

Legal Merchant

Jenn is a wealthy merchant of high standing - one of the most successful merchants in the entire solar system. Her standards are high, making sure to keep lower end Traders at arms length from her, focusing only on the successful ones that have money to burn.

Contraband Merchant

Dett is a corrupt Ministry of Accounts official, in charge of the seized commodity warehouses. He sells the seized contraband goods that were scheduled for incineration, and alters records to cover his tracks.

Legal Merchant

Carton Sr. has tried almost every job under the Sun, along with a few not under the Sun, and the years of shifting jobs are starting to catch up with him. Carston Sr. has a grandfatherly appearance to him, but behind the kindly elder exterior is a shrewd salesman.

Contraband Merchant

Graham is an ex-physician, cast out from the medical community after it was revealed that he was addicting patients to painkillers to keep them coming back. He uses his connections to get rare and outlawed medical items on the black market, and whatever else he can come across that will turn a profit.

Legal Merchant

Captain Zelnick, previously of the MSS Vindicator, is a military man turned Merchant. His connections with the Ministry of Accounts have guaranteed him rock bottom prices for his commodities, and he in turn makes sure not to pass any savings to Traders.

Contraband Merchant

Raised in Kabuki tradition, Mai spent her childhood behind the scenes at her mother’s geisha house. She learned at an early age how money is made, and developed talents to manipulate a Trader into giving her the best deal possible.

These are just a few of the unique Merchants and Dealers found in Space Trader. Dozens more are found throughout the game, each with a unique look and voice. Check out the demo to see them in action!

Space Trader 1.1.13

Space Trader version 1.1.13 has been released and is available on our downloads page. This version adds a variety of performance increases over older versions and fixes some gameplay and audio bugs.
