Is it a Scam? Does It Really Work?

If you are really fond of reading but you prefer reasonably priced books, you can benefit from BookBub, a company that promises to send you e-mail messages every time a book that matches your interests is offered at a lower price, or even free. The company has more than two million subscribers and claims to be the best service for e-book price promotions. According to their professionally made website, publishers frequently offer flash sales on their books in order to make them stand out from the competition and to stimulate sales. These price reductions are provided for a limited period of time, and catching the moment when they occur can be difficult. BookBub decided to change this by sending you email updates every day for e-books that have high quality content, match your taste, are free or discounted and com withe limited time offers. All this is expected to help you discover your next fvourite book.

Usually, BookBub emails feature content from well-known authors and publishers across the following genres: Thrillers, Mysteries, and Action; Bestsellers; Romance; Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror; Other Fiction; Nonfiction. In order to sign up for those emails, you will need to provide your email address that will not be shared with any third-party entities, as the company claims. After entering your email address, you will see a page offering a lot of genres and sub-genres for you to choose, as well as your preferred formats (e.g. Barnes and Noble Nook, Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks, etc.). Once you have made your choice, you will be able to visit your home page with a list of titles depending on your specifications. Each title comes with a short description and a platform it is available on.

Customer Reviews - Does BookBub Really Work?

BookBub was founded by Josh Schanker in 2012 and is based out of Boston, MA. Even though the company has been featured in mass media, including Forbes and the New York Times, they are not listed with the Better Business Bureau. But they provide a free service for users, which makes perfect sense. You can find a great number of online reviews about the company on different websites. We encountered both positive and less positive testimonials during our research. However, there are no complaints that are not related to personal preferences of customers. Most people using the service re highly pleased with it. One man writes in his review that he has loaded more than 65 free BookBub e-books on my computer. He is so happy to have found many of his favourite publications. He has told his friends about it and they started using the website too. The man is not only a reader, but he is also an author. He is going to place is first novel on BookBub too.

Another customer reports that she finds the website very helpful and just great. At first, she was skeptical about using the site but then she decided to join it. The woman likes getting email alerts every day because she is always looking forward to something new. She has already downloaded about 15 books on her computer (ranging from $0.00 to $2.99). The advantage of this site is that they do not ask for any payment info, but take you to your set up account with Amazon and so you deal with your e-book provider directly. Going this way helps to save a lot of money! The third user claims that reading books is fun, especially those ones with a great plot with suspense, lots of twists, and action. A good book is very fast to read. BookBub helps him to enjoy reading with very little money. The man often gets free or extremely cheap books book ($0.99). He is retired and has a lot of free time to read boos. This service always fits his budget and reading needs. Another advantage of this site is that it can be reached through an application on your phone or mobile device. It is very convenient. Most users highly appreciate the service and re ready to recommend it to all of their friends and family. It is high time to take a look at the actual users' reviews left on different websites online.

"BookBub is completely free to use, it sends you email every day with a collection of books for you to choose from. This is a great opportunity to try new authors. How can some people give this site less than 5 stars? I am very glad that I joined this site one day. Since then every book I received was completely free. I have no complaints at all and I do recommend this service to everyone!"

"Book Bub does what it promises to do and I am satisfied with its service. I am an avid reader and I don't have much money to pay for each new book. I get the email every day as claimed. Believe it or not but I have enjoyed every book I have received. I also like that the website provides a wide variety of choices to meet my preferences. One of my favorite things about this site is that I have discovered many interesting authors I have never read before."

"I have used Bookbub for more than a year and I am always waiting to another daily email. I usually download one or two books per week because I want to read them thoroughly. I've discovered new authors that I really enjoy and am satisfied with the service. In fact, this website can be used by authors who want to promote their books. This is my favorite site as I do enjoy reading new authors."

My Final Summary

At its most basic, BookBub is a wonderful website offering a great variety of ebooks. The greatest advantage is that one can get a book completely for free or for a low price. Besides, the service offers a great collection of genres for you to choose from. After you determine your preferences, you will start receiving emails every day informing you of any books available at a discount. BookBub is risk-free: you do not have to spend money in order to get discounts, or to go through a difficult redeeming process. You just have to sign up for a free account and to click on the link offering a book you would like to download. Then you will immediately be taken to the download page.

Taking into account all said, our general impressions about the service are very positive. BookBub provides a free service that requires no commitment and can potentially save you a lot of money. Some of the company's daily emails may contain only one recommendation, but usually you will be offered eight or ten books. You are not expected to get dozens of recommendations every day. But why do you need more, if the company only offers those books that meet your preferences? I am sure you will choose at least one good book for you to read during a week. BookBub offers a wide variety of different genres but it focuses on fiction. Each book is a full-length novel of at least 150 pages. Taking into account all pros and cons, I do recommend BookBub to avid readers.
